Our Worship
Since we are governed by the Bible, we follow the commands and examples of the New Testament church regarding our worship in our church assembly. We are determined to worship God as He ordained and believe that the Bible is the only guide in these matters. Our goal is to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
PrayingThe New Testament church was a praying church (Acts 2:42; Colossians 4:2). We pray in the name of Jesus (Ephesians 5:20). We pray with faith (James 5:13-18).
PreachingOur preaching is Bible-based (2 Timothy 4:2). We desire to preach the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We expect our preachers to speak according to the Word of God (1 Peter 4:11).
GivingEach Sunday our members give cheerfully as they have been prospered and as they have purposed in their hearts (1 Corinthians 16:2; 2 Corinthians 9:7). Our congregation's work is supported by these offerings and the voluntary service of our members.
Singing
Our congregational singing is "a cappella". This means that we sing without the use of
mechanical instruments of music. We follow the practice of the New Testament church (1
Corinthians 14:15; Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). The result is a beautiful blending of
all voices in the assembly, seeking to praise and glorify God in spirit and truth.

We partake of the Lord's Supper (also called communion) the first day of every week on the Lord's Day (Sunday). This is observed in memory of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 20:7). We follow this example of the first century Christians to remember Jesus by participating together in this communion.
